This is not a great shot, but it shows the engine sitting where it goes with the hoist disconnected. From this point the single most time consuming part of the engine swap was done. Now I had weeks ahead of me chasing parts and designing and installing.

This is the swap about 99% done. The radiator is a brand new 1986-1988 Corvette aluminum/plastic unit. The upper radiator hose is for a 1978 Pontiac Firebird. The lower one is originally for a 1988 Ford F-150 with the 5.0 V8. On the right you can just see the Ford starter relay which was needed so the GM ignition didn't melt the Volvo wiring. Almost every part needed for this swap can be found at your local auto parts store!
